The “Moretta” is a traditional liqueur from Fano. The legend tells it was born due the sailors and fishermen of Fano, drinking hot liquor to warm up and get strength before to restart sailing. The Moretta is obtained by mixing anise, rum and brandy in different  doses depending on the recipe. These three spirits are heated directly in the traditional shot glass with a couple of sugar teaspoons and the lemon zest, once sugar is melted there's adding of espresso coffee.
