Crunchy Almond Biscuits
These delicious Crunchy Almand Biscuits belong to the culinary tradition of the bourgeois families of the late 19th century who, in occasion of important lunches, were inspired by the famous recipe book by Pellegrino Artusi "Science in the kitchen and art of eating well" whose first edition dates back to 1891. It is from one of these excellent and original recipes that Daniela Storoni of Rinascimento a Tavola was inspired for the preparation of these delicious biscuits.

Crunchy Almond Biscuits are prepared exclusively with quality products: stone-ground wheat flour, brown sugar, almonds, all enriched by the fresh citrus scent of orange marmalade. They are excellent accompanied by Vino Cotto or Passito and also pleasant at breakfast or at the end of the meal with coffee.

Located in Urbino, one of the cradles of the Italian Renaissance, on the hills of the Southern area of Montefeltro, this laboratory of excellence contains a synthesis of culinary excellence of the Italian Renaissance courts, through the use of specific techniques for the preparation and culinary and symbolic references. Today, as in the ducal court of five hundred years ago, the excellence guides the protagonists of this small entrepreneurial story, constantly searching evidence of the past with the aim at satisfing the most discerning palates.
