Belmonte Piceno

This name says it all about this small village in the province of Fermo: a privileged location between the valleys of the Tenna river and Ete river,  ancient and glorious origins by the Piceni , all that makes this village of about 700 citizen a little jewel in the crown, definitely it is worth a visit. The old small town, the old churches, the remains of fortified walls and especially the wonderful panorama that surrounds it, that among green valleys and harmonious hills, it fascinates a lot of visitors in every season. Although this is a small town there are many events and cultural exhibition that enliven the town, dedicated to local traditions, and on the top of that do not miss the opportunity to taste some specialties really extraordinary. Tasting Marche knows well and has came over here only to let you know the special cheese Fontegranne, so special because the milk is obtained from breeding of cows and goats, you could visited the farm with the same name, Fontegranne, it is a real delicacie.
