Barchi
A small town of about thousand inhabitants, with a very important architectural heritage, Barchi is a lovely town in the province of Pesaro Urbino, waiting to be discovered. The old town is a real jewel, thanks to urban structure commissioned by Guidobaldo the Duke of Urbino, and strolling around its walls, discovering all the alleys, palaces and beautiful lodges lets you to make a real journey in the Renaissance, when the splendor of the city was at the height.
There are lots of events for which it is worth spending a day in Barchi: the Fair of Saint Ubaldo or another event called "The flavors of the Castle", both are great to discover traditions and typical products of this area. Surronding the centre of Barchi the countryside become the main protagonist, with beautiful hills where wild plants are very close to fields and fragrant vineyards.
