Castelsantangelo sul Nera
A pleasant town of rare beauty in the Sibillini mountains, a few hundred inhabitants and the headwaters of the famous river Nera: this is Castelsantangelo sul Nera. The medieval town offers to visitors four beautiful churches and the interesting San Liberatore’s Monastery, but guess what, the jewel in the crown is the surrounding scenery, also for this reason a tourist decide to come here, among the mountains that mark the border between the Marche and Umbria.
