Serra De Conti
The town of Serra de Conti is located on the hills that emerge from the valley of the river Misa and offers a very charming ancient medieval village. The expansion of the town took place in the period after 1200 and the development is mainly due to agricultural tradition and commerce. Many are the typical products that characterize this beautiful and ancient village. Among all, Cicerchia di Serra dei Conti stands out, an ancient legume that is celebrated every year on the last week of November, within the medieval walls, with the note Cicerchia Days. But even in the feast of the patron, the Feast of Blessed Gerard, you can taste many specialties of the place, really so rich in agricultural resources, such as other ancient legumes chickpeas and solfì beans, the typical fig salami, the sapa, the extra virgin olive oil, the agresto and the unforgettable Verdicchio. Tasting Marche has chosen to present these products all together thanks to the cooperation with Cooperative "La Bona Usanza" that seeks the preservation of ancient legumes and traditional flavours and dishes.
