Urbino
In the southern part of Montefeltro, near the banks of the river Metauro, in a beautiful landscape is located the marvellous Urbino. With Roman origin is famous for being one of the most significant centers of the Italian Renaissance and its historic center has been recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage. Unmissable part of any journey to discover the Marche, Urbino gave birth to famous people, including Raphael and Gioacchino Rossini.
