An original tasting experience, the one we offer you, with products chosen in the province of Ancona. From the Conero Mountain we have selected Pacasassi, vegetable that grow only in this area and which are prepared in oil and than used as an appetizer, alongside boiled or roastad fish or to fill sandwiches or pizza. Also Mielavanda, a Lavander-flavored Acacia's honey is also typical of this area. From the hills moving inland, we have selected Cicerchia di Serra dè Conti and Lonzino di Fico, traditional products and Slow Food Presidium. Finally, from the same province we opted for some delicious biscuits filled with sour cherry Compote.

Prepared for: Recommended for those who love to taste typical and delicious products from le Marche. How to eat: The Cicerchia can be used in a variety of soups, either alone, or together with other legumes, or combined with other cereals. Mielavanda is perfect to sweet hot beverages and delicious as garnish on yogurt, biscuits, but also on savoury products such as aged cheeses. Lonzino di Fico, cutted in slices, is delicious tasted au natural, anyway, for lovers of sweet and sour, with a slice of medium aged cheese. Pacasassi can be served directly with fishes, meats and cheeses. You can use them also to stuff pizza, sandwiches and savoury pies. The Visciolini Biscuits filled with cherry compote are delicious savoured alone at the end of the meal.
Products chosen by Tasting Marche are unique and protected; Cicerchia and Lonzino di Fico are Slow Food Presidium from the Cooperative La Bona Usanza from Serra dei Conti (AN). The Pacasassi and Mielavanda are produced by Ambrosia from Sirolo (AN) while the Visciolini Biscuits are made by Natura Dolce from Santa Maria Nuova (AN).
