The Lonzetta di Fico covered by Dark Chocolate is an extremely special dessert: a jewel of the Marche tradition enhanced by an exquisite dark chocolate glaze. A unique product made with sweet figs, almonds, walnuts, rum and anise, all ground and wrapped in chocolate glaze shaped into a characteristic form as Lonza. A true delicacy perfect to be combined with a tablespoon of Sapa and a Passito sweet wine, for an end meal by real demanding people.

Classic recipe of the rural tradition of the Marche, made with dried figs after the harvest in late September, mixed with other ingredients such as almonds, walnuts, rum and anise, to form a dough that is wrapped in chocolate, so take the characteristic shape of Lonza. This dessert is the result of local tradition, when in the Marche countryside, particularly in Vallesina, figs were cultivated in abundance, often maturing at the same time, just before the harvest, they had to be collected and stored to last through the winter.
