Although the plant is well known, the same cannot be said of the jam made by its fruit, which is certainly not easy to find on stores’ shelves. Tasting Marche wants to propose an Extra jam made with these tiny wild fruit processed according to ancient recipes, to ensure a very special texture, to be used as a dessert topping, but also to be paired with fresh or seasoned cheeses. The choice is yours; however, it will be a success!

Close to the town of Fratte Rosa (PU), Azienda Agricola i Lubachi cultivates cereals and fodders with the organic method. The company's goal is to rediscover old traditional productions combining respect for origins with respect for the land. The company participates to the project of varietal recovery of Fava Bean of Fratte Rosa, collaborating with the Experimental Institute for horticulture of Monsanpolo del Tronto(AP) and the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Ancona. The company bears the name of the land where is located, in fact, Fratte Rosa is on heavy clay soils known as "I Lubachi".

Ingredients: Eldberries and brown sugar. For 100 gr of product 144 gr of fruits and e 42 gr. of sugars.

General Information: Preserves can be consumed au naturel or cooked. How to eat: Preserves are delicious spread on warm bread or on a buttered focaccia or cookies. They pair well also with meat, instead of sauces, and with hard and savoury cheeses. Due to the high percentage of fruit, extra preserves are scrumptious also enjoyed by itself, as a dessert. The preserves can be used also to make baked desserts: pies, cookies and cakes.
